Vaginoplasty Results:
Dr. Edwin van Onselen, August 2002

Dr. van Onselen has reportedly replace Dr. Mulder as the primary SRS surgeon at the Free University Medical Center in Amsterdam, a position previously held by J. Joris Hage. These photographs were kindly provided by the patient; they were taken eight weeks postoperatively, and some redness is still evident along the suture lines. Note the shape of the glans-derived sensate clitoris, the size and shape of the labia, and the use of a scrotal flap to create the back wall of the vaginal introitus.

With the labia spread, we can see that the urethral meatus is located immediately below the clitoris, quite a bit higher than I prefer. Nevertheless, the patient says, "I pee really well, in a nice straight line." She adds, "I'm orgasmic, my vaginal depth is about 4.5 inches (11.5 cm), and I use a 33 mm (1-3/8 in.) diameter stent. Dr. van Onselen has done about 15 SRS operations on his own, and before that a lot more under the supervision of Dr. Mulder." Overall, I consider this a good result.
