These photos were also taken about 8 weeks
after surgery and were sent to me by the patient. She wrote, "The surgery was
performed at the Sussex Nuffield Hospital in the UK, where Mr. Thomas practices
privately."
With the labia spread, all the central vulvar
structures are visible. The overall appearance is, in my opinion, very good.
The patient wrote, "I can now achieve a depth of 14.5 cm (just under 6 inches)
with the 30 mm (1-1/4 inch) dilator. I had problems urinating when my catheter
was removed but I'm told this is common. I was recatheterized for a week and
now my urine stream is steady and direct. I’m very pleased with the
results."
