In this photograph with the labia together
the clitoris is hidden, but the urethral meatus is clearly visible. The meatus
is in a low position, which I consider desirable. This example is unusual in
that a skin graft taken from the lateral thigh was used to line the vagina. The
graft was needed because there was not sufficient penile and scrotal skin
available. One of the reasons can be seen in this photograph: Considerable
penile skin has been used to drape the vulva externally. In my opinion, this
results in a less-than-natural appearance, as well as limiting the amount of
skin available for use in the vagina.

With the labia spread, we can see the size and
position of the clitoris. The sutures joining the penile skin and the grafted
skin from the lateral thigh are visible at the vaginal introitus.
