These photographs were taken about 2 months
after surgery. With the labia together, there is an impression of hooding of the
clitoris, and discrete labial structures are evident. Some urethral mucosa is
also visible. The suture lines are still slightly pink, but healing appears
excellent.
With the labia separated, the clitoris is
visible, and we can see the way urethral mucosa has been extended upward from
the meatus for cosmetic effect. Although I don’t usually recommend this
technique, the effect here is pleasing. The patient reports that she has about
11 cm (4-1/2 in.) of vaginal depth, has good clitoral sensation, and is
orgasmic. In my opinion, this is an excellent result.
