Vaginoplasty Results:
Dr. Preecha Tiewtranon, 2003
This photo was taken about 3 years after SRS and
was kindly sent to me by the patient. Her surgery was apparently completed in
2003, but she did not specify the month. She wrote, "I have no problem peeing
and I am fully orgasmic, but I have maybe 3 inches (7.5 cm) depth. I can only
fit two fingers inside and I am unable to have intercourse because the amount of
meatus [i.e., erectile tissue around the urethral meatus] is too prominent. Also
I have hair growing inside; Dr. Preecha advised me not to have hair removal, as
he said this would not be an issue." She added, "I recently wrote to Dr. Suporn
and his nurse told me that because of cultural practice, Dr. Suporn would not be
willing to perform ANY further corrective surgery, not even aesthetically,
because it is considered improper for a student to correct the work of a
teacher."
