I took these photos eight weeks after the patient’s vaginoplasty. The bright
pink tissue adjacent to the location of the clitoris is a loose tag of tissue,
not the clitoris itself. A knot of black suture is visible on the left (patient's
right). The patient reported a depth of 5 inches (12.5 cm) using a 1-1/4 inch
(32 mm) dilator. She had already experienced two orgasms following surgery.
With the labia spread, the locations of structures are easier to see. Note the
position of the urethral meatus and the absence of fullness around it. I think
this is a very nice first-stage result.
