Dr. Toby Meltzer, July 2004 / October 2004 and revisions
These photos were graciously sent to me by the patient. She underwent
vaginoplasty in July 2004, labiaplasty in October 2004, an unspecified revision
in February 2005, and yet another revision in September 2005. This photo was
taken in August 2005, immediately before the last revision. The prominence
of the clitoris was one of the patient’s principal concerns.
This photo and the one following were taken in November 2005, two months
after the second revision. The patient wrote, "Dr. Meltzer freed up the nerves,
lowered my clitoris, re-hooded it, revised my labia majora, and revised my
urethra. I am extremely pleased with my final outcome. Lowering the clitoris
made a huge difference and allowed it to stay hooded this time."
With the labia spread, the central structures are more easily visible. The
patient wrote, "My vaginal depth is about 5-1/2 inches (14 cm), using the 1-3/8
inch (35 mm) clear, curved dilator provided by Dr. Meltzer. Sensation is
good and I have been orgasmic through manual stimulation. My urine stream goes
straight, in a slightly forward downward direction. I have no problems with
urination, except that my urine stream tends to hit the forward part of the
toilet bowl."
