These photographs were taken four months postoperatively. The clitoral
hooding is good for a one-stage operation. This is an excellent photo in which
to appreciate the amount of penile skin that has been left outside the vagina.
In many two-stage surgical techniques, most of this skin would be intravaginal.

With the labia spread, we can better appreciate
the position of the urethral meatus. Although the patient reports that her right
labial area became infected, requiring a 24-day course of antibiotics, the
overall appearance and symmetry are excellent. The patient reports that her
urine stream goes "every which way." Her vaginal depth is 4-1/2 to 5" (11 –
12.5 cm) using a 1-3/8" (3.5 cm) dilator, and she is orgasmic.
