Vaginoplasty Results:

These photographs, taken about 3-1/2 months post-vaginoplasty, were kindly
sent to me by the patient. This view with the labia together suffers from
limited resolution, but the overall appearance is pleasing. The urethral opening
is just visible.
In this higher-resolution view with the labia
spread, we can see the well-defined clitoris, hooded by a strip of urethral
mucosa. This photo reveals the thickness of the mucosal strip, which also forms
the inner labia. The patient says, "I am fully sensate, though I've
not had an orgasm yet. I have a depth of 5-1/2 inches (14 cm.) using a 1- 5/8
inch (4 cm.) diameter dilator. I am apparently self-lubricating to some degree."
In my opinion, this is a very nice result, especially considering that it
reflects a one-stage procedure.
