Dr. Pierre Brassard, May 2002
These photographs were taken about eight months postoperatively, and were
kindly sent to me by the patient. The overall appearance is quite good,
especially the hooding of the clitoris. The patient says, "I lost a little piece
of the skin graft in my vulva near the entrance to my vagina, on my left. It was
raw for awhile but was soon covered by scar tissue. The urethral mucosa that was
used to create my labia minora produces enough mucus that I need to wear a panty
liner to protect my undies. I have a good urine stream that for the most part
goes down."

With the labia spread, we can see the clitoris
and the surrounding mucosa. The patient reports, "My clitoris is sensate – too
sensate to be touched directly so far. Stimulation to the mons area feels much
better. I've had some orgasms while dreaming. I have 5 inches (12.5 cm) of
depth, very close to what I had the day Dr. Brassard removed the stent."
