Dr. Pierre Brassard, February 2000
These photographs were taken 9 months after vaginoplasty. The labial folds
are extremely well formed in this example. The clitoris is visible just beneath
the midline nubbin of tissue at the top of the labia.

With the labia spread, one can better see the
clitoris, which is created from part of the penile glans. The inner labia are
clearly defined, and the vaginal introitus is unobstructed. The urethral mucosa
surrounding the clitoris shows none of the extreme redness seen in so many other
examples from Montreal. When the technique of extending the urethral mucosa
works well, as it does in this example, the overall result can be exceptional.
