Ingersoll Gender Center, once a nationally recognized organization, is now a pale shadow of its former self. It still operates a weekly All-Trans Support Group, however, on Wednesdays from 7 - 9 PM. This mixed, peer-facilitated group meets at:

This crossdressers' group welcomes TS members. It is somewhat security-conscious, which may be reassuring to beginners. Emerald City provides a friendly place to practice presentation skills, get feedback, and meet friends for social outings. Meetings are open only to members and guests and are held on the 1st Thursday of every month, 7:30-9:30 PM. Usually there are at least two other social events every month, including seasonal parties, picnics and cruises.

Membership is $35 per year and prospective members are screened; the Emerald City web site provides details. A not inconsiderable membership benefit is a subscription to the Emerald City News, a monthly newsletter.
