Vaginoplasty Results:

These photographs were taken about 6 months after surgery and were kindly sent to me by the patient. She wrote, "I am very pleased with all aspects of my surgery. Vaginal depth is about 6 inches (15 cm) and the diameter is about 1-1/2 inches (3.7 cm). I am able to insert the largest dilator purchased from Dr. Chettawut without any difficulty. I still have some pain in my left labia, which feels like a couple of stitches are stuck in there somewhere, but otherwise everything has settled down wonderfully well. Urine comes out very well and pretty much straight down."

Despite the limited resolution of these photos, the size and position of the central structures are easy to appreciate, so I haven't bothered to label them. I think this is a very good result.
