These first two photos were taken in 2005 and
were sent to me by the patient, who was dissatisfied with her results.
Consequently, readers should consider the possibility that this may not be a
representative example of Mr. Ceber’s work. Despite the limited resolution, we
can see that the clitoris appears fairly large and that the urethral meatus is
positioned well above the vaginal introitus.
In this view with the labia spread, the
structures are better defined. The patient wrote, "The operation was performed
in one step. Depth is 10 cm (4 inches) and I use a 36 mm (1-1/2 inch) dilator
with ease. However, there is no real clitoral feeling, no sensitivity anywhere,
and I am definitely not orgasmic. I am bitterly disappointed with the results
and need some repair surgery done."
This photo and the one immediately following were
taken later in 2005 and were again sent to me by the patient, to document
swelling of her vulvar structures with sexual arousal. The distension of the
clitoris and the erectile tissue surrounding the urethral meatus are
apparent.
This second photo from later in 2005, taken
looking down from above, gives an even better sense of the cosmetically
unacceptable swelling of the erectile tissue accompanying sexual arousal.
This photo and the one immediately following were
taken in 2006, a few months after the patient's surgical result was revised by
Mr. Ceber; they were again sent to me by the patient. She wrote, "These photos
are after the surgery to reduce and hood my clitoris and to remove the offending
excess meatus. It is hard for me to judge the results, apart from saying there
has been an improvement."
With the labia spread, the central structures
and the extent of the revision are more easily seen. The patient wrote, "I
can't truly say that I am satisfied with the overall results, but I am sure
there are much worse results. Mr. Simon Ceber has done a lot for me and has
tried for the best result possible. His caring nature has been evident in his
recent dealings with me. I have been able to gain a little sensation, but it is
nearly impossible to reach an orgasm though clitoral stimulation, because the
area is very numb and does not transmit any real feeling."
