This example demonstrates many of the better characteristics of Brassard’s
recent work. The inner labial folds are well defined, and the urethral
meatus is placed low, near the vaginal opening. The clitoris is less visible
than in some examples because of an abnormal adhesion between the upper parts of
the labia. This adhesion can be seen immediately to the left (patient’s right)
of the “c” in the example. A small adhesion like this could easily be cut in any
physician’s office.

With the labia spread, the adhesion between the
labia is again visible, just above and to the left of the “c”. Note the extreme
redness in a few areas of the strip of urethral mucosa used to line the inner
labia. Overall, I think this is a fine result, especially considering that it
represents a one-stage procedure.
